Reed's mobile mechanic service

Elizabeth Crow 3 months ago

Called Reed out to assist my husband in replacing the alternator in my vehicle. He cross threaded the bolts on my alternator then somehow ended up ripping out the electrical connector. He literally left us more messed up than when he showed up. If this is your day job, my guy you should find something else. Also I guess thanks for the free car wash card but it doesn’t make up for the extra money we had to put into my car to make it work again.

You have 20 plus years in business and put my belt on wrong? Left me stranded a couple weeks later and idk how it lasted me that long. When we called you, you proceeded to tell us that there's no possible way you did that and can't hardly see in the pic. I have three other witnesses, I seen it and helped fix the belt myself, after I bought an alternator because we thought it was that but turns out, it was just the belt on wrong the whole time. Don't tell a customer they are wrong and not offer to help fix said issue or anything. No apologies jist thats impossible. That's not good business. If I had a better picture, this would be going further than just a review but it was in the middle of the night last night so I will leave it alone at this. I appreciate that he came out to help while I needed it, being a mobile mechanic, but dont tell us it's impossible when we seen it.
